  • CHECK the operation of the power windows.
    • If the power windows operate correctly, INSTALL a new window control switch. REFER to GLASS, FRAMES AND MECHANISMS article. TEST the system for normal operation.
  • The door lock control switch illumination is inoperative
  • Wiring, terminals or connectors
  • Door lock switch
  • The roof opening panel switch illumination is inoperative
  • Wiring, terminals or connectors

  • The individual component illumination is inoperative

  • Medium speed controller area network (MS-CAN)

  • CARRY OUT the network test.
    • If the scan tool communicates with the modules on the MS-CAN, INSTALL a new SJB. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC MODULES article. TEST the system for normal operation.
  • The instrument cluster (IC) illumination is inoperative
  • IC
  • The climate control module illumination is inoperative
  • Climate control module
  • CARRY OUT the network test.
    • If the scan tool communicates with the climate control module, INSTALL a new climate control module. REFER to CLIMATE CONTROL article. TEST the system for normal operation.
  • The audio control module (ACM) illumination is inoperative
  • ACM
  • CARRY OUT the network test.
    • If the scan tool communicates with the ACM, CHECK for ACM DTCs. CORRECT any DTCs if present. If no DTCs are present, REMOVE the ACM. REFER to INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS article. SEND it to an authorized repair facility. TEST the system for normal operation.
  • The DVD player illumination is inoperative
  • Rear entertainment module (RETM)
  • CARRY OUT the network test.
    • If the scan tool communicates with the RETM, REMOVE the RETM. REFER to INFORMATION AND ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEMS article. SEND it to an authorized repair facility. TEST the system for normal operation.
