Pinpoint Test F: Pinpoint Test F: The Roof Opening Panel Switch Illumination Is Inoperative

NOTE: Use the correct probe adapter(s) when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.
  1. F1 CHECK THE OPERATION OF THE ROOF OPENING PANEL SWITCH 
    • Operate the roof opening panel from the switch.
    • Does the roof opening panel operate? 
    1. YES  : Go to  F2.
    2. NO  : REFER to ROOF OPENING PANEL article.
  2. F2 CHECK CIRCUIT CBP41 (BU) FOR VOLTAGE 
    • Key in OFF position.
    • Disconnect: Roof Opening Panel Switch C930
    • Key in ON position.
    • Measure the voltage between the roof opening panel switch C930-1, circuit CBP41 (BU), harness side and ground.

    • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? 
    1. YES  : INSTALL a new roof opening panel switch. TEST the system for normal operation.
    2. NO  : REPAIR the circuit for an open.
