Removal And Installation

CAUTION: Make sure to correctly route and secure the wheel speed sensor harness in the rear subframe assembly or damage to the harness may occur.

All vehicles 

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
  2. Disconnect the wheel speed sensor electrical connector.
  3. Remove the wheel speed sensor bolt.
    • To install, tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
  4. LH 

  5. Release the wheel speed sensor harness spring clip and the 2 pin-type retainers from the rear control arm.

  7. Release the wheel speed sensor harness pin-type retainer and remove the wheel speed sensor.

    RH 

  9. Release the wheel speed sensor harness spring clip and the 2 pin-type retainers from the rear control arm.

  11. Release the 3 pin-type retainers and remove the wheel speed sensor.

    All vehicles 

  13. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
