Window Glass - Rear: Removal

Remove the C-pillar trim panel and parcel shelf, and lower the headliner. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION article.
Disconnect the 2 rear window defrost electrical connectors.

WARNING: Wear protective gloves when handling components or parts that have pointed or sharp edges. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury.

NOTE: To avoid rust formation, use extreme care not to scratch the paint or primer, or otherwise damage the pinch weld during glass removal.

NOTE: Lubricate the existing urethane adhesive with water to aid the Deluxe Windshield Remover Tool while cutting.

Using the Deluxe Windshield Remover Tool, place the flat side of the knife against the rear window glass window. Start cutting the glass at the top and work toward the corners.

Using The Pumper, distance the rear window glass from the body.

Using the Deluxe Windshield Remover Tool, cut the remaining urethane adhesive and remove the window glass.
