Auxiliary Transmission Fluid Cooler: Installation

  1. Install the OTA auxiliary transmission fluid cooler and the 3 bolts.
    • Tighten to 8 Nm (71 lb-in).
  2. Connect the transmission fluid cooler hoses to the OTA auxiliary transmission fluid cooler. Install the hose clamps.
  3. Install the radiator grille.
  4. Fill the transmission with the specified type and quantity of clean transmission fluid. For additional information, refer to AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - 4R70E/4R75E article or AUTOMATIC TRANSAXLE/TRANSMISSION - TORQSHIFT article.
  5. Check for leaks.
