Power Steering Pump Pulley: Removal

Vehicles with 6.0L engine

Remove the engine cooling fan. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING article.

All vehicles

Rotate the tensioner clockwise and remove the accessory drive belt from the power steering pump pulley.
With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
If equipped, remove the deflector shield.
Using the special tool, remove the pulley.
