Removal And Installation

  1. Remove the wheel and tire. For additional information, refer to WHEELS AND TIRES article.
  2. Release the wheel speed sensor wiring harness from the brake flexible hose.

    CAUTION: Do not allow the caliper to hang from the brake hose or damage to the hose can occur.
  4. Remove the 2 brake caliper guide pin bolts and position the caliper aside.
    • Support the caliper using mechanic's wire.
    • To install, tighten to 37 Nm (27 lb-ft).
  5. Remove the brake pads from the anchor plate.
  6. Remove the 2 brake caliper anchor plate bolts and the brake caliper anchor plate.
    • To install, tighten to 265 Nm (195 lb-ft).
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
