Transmission Fluid
NOTE: MERCON® V and MERCON® SP are not interchangeable transmission fluids. Use of any transmission fluid other than the recommended transmission fluid may cause transmission damage. Refer to the transmission fluid level indicator for the type of transmission fluid required. The transmission fluid should be changed every 96,000 km (60,000 mi) regardless of normal or special operating conditions.
Transmission Fluid Capacity
The transmission fluid capacities are approximate dry fill capacities and include the transmission fluid coolers, transmission fluid filter and transmission fluid cooler tubes. Transmission fluid should be checked with the vehicle on a level surface and at normal operating temperature.
