Engine Mount: Installation

  1. Install the motor mounts and loosely install the 8 motor mount-to-motor mount plate bolts.
  2. Lower the engine.
  3. Install the 2 engine mount removable studs.
    • Tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).

  5. Tighten the 8 motor mount-to-motor mount plate bolts.
    • Tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
  6. NOTE: The top retaining nut must be tightened first.
  7. Install the 4 motor mount-to-crossmember nuts.
    • Tighten to 90 Nm (66 lb-ft).
  8. Install the 2 new exhaust flange nuts.
    • Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).

  10. Position back the cable and install the bolt. Install the RH fan stator stand-off.
    • Tighten both to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).

  12. Position the power steering pump and install the 2 bolts.
    • Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

  14. Install the LH fan stator stand-off.
    • Tighten to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).

  16. Install the 2 upper power steering bolts.
    • Tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).

  18. Install the A/C compressor. For additional information, refer to CLIMATE CONTROL article.
  19. Install the cooling fan stator and radiator. For additional information, refer to ENGINE COOLING article.
  20. Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES article.
