Vehicle Preparation

Carry out all of the safety steps required to start and run the vehicle tests. Apply the parking brake, place the gear selector lever firmly into the PARK position (NEUTRAL on manual transmission), and block the drive wheels.
Turn off all electrical loads - radios, lights, A/C, blower, and fans.
Start the engine and bring it up to normal operating temperature before carrying out the Quick Test.
