Removal And Installation

CAUTION:
Brake fluid is harmful to painted and plastic surfaces. If brake fluid is spilled onto a painted or plastic surface, wash it immediately with cold water.
- Remove the engine air cleaner. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION AND FILTERING - 2.3L article.
- Disconnect the clutch hydraulic fluid tube fitting from the clutch master cylinder.
- Plug the clutch master cylinder.
- Plug the clutch hydraulic fluid tube.
- Disconnect the clutch hydraulic fluid tube fitting from the clutch slave cylinder-to-clutch hydraulic fluid tube adapter.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Remove the clutch hydraulic fluid tube.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
