Symptom Chart - Transaxle Cooling

Condition	Possible Sources	Action
Transaxle overheating	Clogged cold weather cooler bypass valve (CBV)	INSPECT the CBV for plugging. INSTALL a new CBV. REFER to Cooler Bypass Valve .
	Bent or crushed cooler tubes	INSPECT cooler tubes for damage. INSTALL new cooler tubes. REFER to Transmission Fluid Cooler Tubes .
	Clogged transaxle fluid cooler or tubes	INSPECT the transaxle cooler tubes for damage or plugging. INSTALL a new transmission fluid cooler or tubes. REFER to Transmission Fluid Cooler or Transmission Fluid Cooler Tubes .
	System leaks	INSPECT the transmission fluid cooler and tubes for leaks. REPAIR as necessary.
