Safety Belt System: Belt-Minder®
WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2007 Lincoln MKX and 2007 Ford Edge. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
The Belt-Minder® feature is a supplemental warning to the safety belt warning function. This feature provides an additional reminder that the driver's and/or front passenger's safety belt is unbuckled by intermittently sounding a chime and illuminating the safety belt warning lamp in the instrument cluster.
To activate or deactivate the Belt-Minder® feature, refer to WARNING DEVICES or the Owner's Literature.
