Instrument Cluster (IC): Installation

All vehicles
- Position the instrument cluster, connect the electrical connector and install the 4 screws.
- Position the instrument cluster finish panel, connect the power liftgate switch electrical connector (if equipped) and install the 2 screws.
- Install the 4 locating tabs on the instrument cluster finish panel reveal into the upper steering column cover.
- Position and install the instrument panel center finish panel.
- Position the lower steering column cover, connect the ambient air temperature sensor hose and electrical connector (if equipped) and install the 2 screws.
- Connect the battery. For additional information, refer to BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES .
- Carry out the parameter reset and key programming procedure. For additional information, refer to ANTI-THEFT - PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) .
- Clear all instrument cluster and PCM DTCs.
NOTE:
The upper section of the instrument cluster finish panel is held in place by spring clips located on the finish panel.

NOTE:
If a new instrument cluster is installed, download the configuration from the scan tool into the new instrument cluster. For additional information, refer to the programmable module installation in MODULE CONFIGURATION

NOTE:
If a new instrument cluster is installed, the instrument cluster and the PCM require a parameter reset to allow the instrument cluster and the PCM to recognize each other. Failure to carry out the parameter reset to the instrument cluster and the PCM may result in a no start condition.
NOTE:
The vehicles integrated keys (or standard passive anti-theft system [PATS] keys) must be programmed to the new instrument cluster.
