Removal and Installation

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
Remove the Air Cleaner (ACL) assembly. For additional information, refer to INTAKE AIR DISTRIBUTION & FILTERING .
If equipped, detach the block heater electrical harness retainers from the cooling fan motor electrical harness.

Disconnect the cooling fan motor electrical connector.
- Detach the 9 wiring harness retainers from the shroud.
Detach the upper radiator hose from the cooling fan motor and shroud.
Remove the 2 bolts and the cooling fan motor and shroud.
- To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
