Pinpoint Test A: All Power Windows Are Inoperative

NOTE: Use the correct probe adapter(s) from the Flex Probe Kit when making measurements. Failure to use the correct probe adapter(s) may damage the connector.
  1. A1 CHECK CIRCUIT CBB38 (GY/BU) FOR VOLTAGE 
    • Disconnect: LH Front Window Control Switch C504.
    • Ignition ON.
    • Measure the voltage between LH front window control switch C504-3, circuit CBB38 (GY/BU), harness side and ground.

    • Is the voltage greater than 10 volts? 
    • Yes  : INSTALL a new LH front window control switch. REFER to WINDOW CONTROL SWITCH . TEST the system for normal operation.
    • No  : VERIFY SJB  fuse 41 (15A) and Battery Junction Box (BJB) fuse 38 (5A) are OK. If OK, Go To PINPOINT TEST J .

      If not OK, REFER to the appropriate System Wiring Diagrams to identify the possible causes of the circuit short. REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
