Seat - Second Row: Installation

LH inboard striker 

    NOTE: LH seat inboard striker can be identified with large bolt holes.
  1. Position the LH inboard seat striker to the floor and install the 2 M14 bolts.
    • Tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
  2. Position the console bracket cover and install the 2 screws.

    RH inboard seat striker 

  3. NOTE: Make sure the LH inboard striker is not being installed here. A 12M bolt must not be installed in a 14M hole. Make sure there is not excessive bolt hole play.
  4. Position the RH inboard seat striker to the floor and install the 2 M12 bolts.
    • Tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).

    Outboard seat strikers 

  5. Position the RH or LH outboard seat striker to the floor and install the 2 M10 bolts.
    • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

    RH 40 percent seat 

  6. Position the seat in the vehicle and install the retainers.
    1. Install the riser/ seat track-to-floor pan rear inboard nut.
      • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
    2. Install the riser/ seat track-to-floor pan rear outboard nut.
      • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
    3. Install the riser/ seat track-to-floor pan front outboard bolt.
      • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
    4. Install the riser/ seat track-to-floor pan front inboard bolt.
      • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

    LH 40 percent and 60 percent seats 

  7. Position the seat in the vehicle and install the retainers.
    1. Install the riser/ seat track-to-floor pan rear inboard nut.
      • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
    2. Install the riser/ seat track-to-floor pan rear outboard nut.
      • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
    3. Install the riser/ seat track-to-floor pan front outboard bolt.
      • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
    4. Install the riser/ seat track-to-floor pan front inboard bolt.
      • Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).

    Power-fold seat 

  8. Connect the electrical connector.

    All seats 

  9. NOTE: Before installation, make sure the safety belt webbing is not twisted and the safety belts and buckles are accessible to the occupants.
  10. Check the seat for correct operation.
    • With the seat in the upright position, both latch feet must lock to the strikers.
    • When releasing the seat to the E-Z entry position, the latches must release freely and not bind to the strikers.
