Seat - Front: Installation
All seats
- Turn the ignition OFF and wait at least one minute.
- Position the seat in the vehicle.
- Connect the under seat electrical connector(s) and attach the wire harness pin-type retainer.
- Insert the 2 seat track rear locator pins into the Side Protection and Cabin Enhancement (SPACE®) tube.
- Connect the battery ground cable. For additional information, refer to CHARGING SYSTEM .
- Install the 2 rear mounting bolts.
- Tighten to 63 Nm (46 lb-ft).
- Install the 2 front mounting bolts.
- Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
- Install the safety belt anchor bolt.
- Tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- For passenger seat, connect the BTS electrical connector.
- Install the cushion side shield cover.
- If equipped, install the manual recliner handle in the following sequence.
- Install the clip onto the manual recliner handle.
- Align the splines of the manual recliner handle to the manual recliner shaft.
- Push the manual recliner handle onto the manual recliner shaft, seating the clip.
- For passenger seat, insert the flap back.
- Install the front inboard and outboard covers.
- Repower the SRS
. If a passenger seat has been serviced, do not prove out the SRS at this time

Passenger seat
- Carry out the Occupant Classification Sensor (OCS) System Reset. For additional information, refer to the General Procedures portion of SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM .

Turn the ignition OFF and wait one minute to deplete the backup power supply. Failure to follow this instruction may result in serious personal injury or death in the event of an accidental deployment.

Make sure no one is in the vehicle and there is nothing blocking or placed in front of any air bag module when the battery is connected. Failure to follow these instructions may result in serious personal injury in the event of an accidental deployment.
