Quad Bucket and 40 Percent Backrest

- Remove the seat. For additional information, refer to SEAT - SECOND ROW .
- Remove the seat backrest. For additional information, refer to SEAT BACKREST - SECOND ROW, 40 PERCENT .
- Remove the head restraint assembly.
- Release the hook-and-loop strips, invert the backrest trim cover, remove the 2 rows of hog rings and invert to the top of the backrest frame.
- If equipped, route the heated seat wire harness around the backrest trim cover.
- Remove 4 screws and the backrest hard back panel.
- Squeeze the tabs in and remove the 2 head restraint guides.
- Remove the backrest trim cover.
- Remove the backrest foam pad.
- If equipped, note heater mat wiring harness routing for installation.
- To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
NOTE:
Use care when separating the seat backrest trim cover from the hook-and-loop strip, or the hook-and-loop strip may be torn from the seat backrest foam.
NOTE:
The head restraint guides are not interchangeable.
NOTE:
Always install a new backrest foam pad and new backrest heater mat together.
