Quad Bucket and 40 Percent Backrest

  1. Remove the seat. For additional information, refer to SEAT - SECOND ROW .
  2. Remove the seat backrest. For additional information, refer to SEAT BACKREST - SECOND ROW, 40 PERCENT .
  3. Remove the head restraint assembly.
  4. NOTE: Use care when separating the seat backrest trim cover from the hook-and-loop strip, or the hook-and-loop strip may be torn from the seat backrest foam.
  5. Release the hook-and-loop strips, invert the backrest trim cover, remove the 2 rows of hog rings and invert to the top of the backrest frame.
    • If equipped, route the heated seat wire harness around the backrest trim cover.
  6. Remove 4 screws and the backrest hard back panel.
  7. NOTE: The head restraint guides are not interchangeable.
  8. Squeeze the tabs in and remove the 2 head restraint guides.
  9. Remove the backrest trim cover.
  10. NOTE: Always install a new backrest foam pad and new backrest heater mat together.
  11. Remove the backrest foam pad.
    • If equipped, note heater mat wiring harness routing for installation.
  12. To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
