Removal and Installation
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove the 4 upper front bumper cover scrivets.
- Remove the 2 upper front bumper cover bolts.
- To install, tighten to 6 Nm (53 lb-in).
- Remove the 2 middle front bumper cover scrivets located in the front bumper opening just below the license plate position.

NOTE: The front lower air deflector will be removed with the front bumper cover.
Remove the 3 lower air deflector-to-radiator grille support scrivets.
- Remove the 6 front bumper cover wheel house screws (3 each side).
- To install, tighten to 2 Nm (18 lb-in).
- If equipped, disconnect the fog lamps electrical connector.
- If equipped, disconnect the front parking aid electrical connector.

NOTE: The rearward upper portion of the bumper cover must be pulled outward to release it from the bumper cover mounting reinforcement.
Remove the front bumper cover.
- Inspect the bumper cover mounting reinforcements for damage. If necessary, install new bumper cover mounting reinforcements.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Transfer all necessary components.
