Upper and lower cowl grille panel

NOTE: It is not necessary to remove the upper and lower cowl panel grille side mouldings to remove the cowl panel grille.

Remove the wiper pivot arms. For additional information, refer to WIPERS AND WASHERS .

Upper cowl panel grille

Unsnap the LH and RH cowl panel grille side moulding from the cowl panel grille.
Disconnect the windshield washer hose connector.
Remove the 6 cowl panel grille pin-type retainers.
Remove the upper cowl panel grille.

Lower cowl panel

Remove the 2 outer cowl panel Tinnerman retainer clips (1 each side).
NOTE: It will be necessary to remove the lower RH cowl grille panel first.

Remove the RH lower cowl grille panel retainer.
Remove the RH lower cowl grille panel.
Remove the LH lower cowl grille panel retainer clip.
Remove the LH lower cowl grille panel.

Cowl panel grille side moulding

Remove the A-pillar windshield moulding. For additional information, refer to EXTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
Remove the push pin that retains the cowl panel grille side moulding. Unsnap the cowl panel grille side moulding from the cowl panel grille upper and remove the cowl panel grille side moulding.

All cowl panel grilles and side moulding
