Removal and Installation

Insert the ignition key into the ignition lock cylinder and turn it to the ACC position.
Using a suitable tool, press the release pin and remove the ignition lock cylinder.

If a new lock cylinder with keys is replaced, the new Passive Anti-Theft System (PATS) keys must be programmed. For additional information, refer to Integrated Keyhead Transmitter (IKT) Key Programming Using Diagnostic Equipment in ANTI-THEFT - PASSIVE ANTI-THEFT SYSTEM (PATS) .
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
