Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the steering column shroud. For additional information, refer to STEERING COLUMN .
  2. Remove the 4 nuts and lower the steering column.
    • To install, tighten to 18 Nm (159 lb-in).
  3. Disconnect the multifunction switch electrical connector.
  4. Remove the 2 screws and the multifunction switch.
    • To install, tighten to 3 Nm (27 lb-in).
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
