Removal And Installation

  1. Remove the hood latch. For additional information, refer to Hood Latch .
  2. Disconnect the hood latch release cable guides.
  3. Remove the LH scuff plate.
  4. Remove the LH A-pillar lower trim panel.
  5. Remove the 2 hood latch release handle screws.
  6. Remove the hood release latch handle and cable.
    • Release the grommet from the dash panel.
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
