Removal & Installation

- Drain the cooling system. For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding .
- Remove the 2 bolts and position aside the coolant outlet adapter and hose.
- To install, tighten to 25 Nm (18 lb-ft).
- Remove the O-ring seal and the coolant thermostat from the intake manifold.
- Inspect the O-ring seal, install a new seal if necessary.
- To install, reverse the removal procedure. If equipped with fire suppression system, repower the system.
- Fill and bleed the cooling system. For additional information, refer to Cooling System Draining, Filling and Bleeding .
