Drive Belt Tensioner: Service and Repair

Accessory Drive Belt Tensioner - 4.0L SOHC

Front End Accessory Drive (FEAD) - Exploded View, 4.0L SOHC:





Removal and Installation
1. Rotate the accessory drive belt tensioner counterclockwise and remove the drive belt.





2. Remove the bolt and the accessory drive belt tensioner.
^ To install, tighten the bolt to 47 Nm (35 lb-ft).
3. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
