Transfer Case Rear Output Shaft Seal: Removal

With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.

NOTE: Index-mark the rear driveshaft yoke and pinion flange to maintain initial driveshaft balance during installation.

Remove the rear driveshaft. For additional information, refer to DRIVESHAFT article.
Using a suitable tool, remove the oil seal.
