P2287 - Injector Control Pressure Sensor Circuit Intermittent

P2287 - INJECTOR CONTROL PRESSURE SENSOR CIRCUIT INTERMITTENT

Description:  The powertrain control module (PCM) continuously monitors the injection control pressure (ICP) sensor signal to determine if the signal is within an expected range. If the PCM detects any intermittent concerns with the ICP signal the DTC sets, the malfunction indicator lamp (MIL) illuminates.
Possible Causes: 
  • ICP sensor circuit intermittent
Diagnostic Aids:  Monitor the ICP PIDs. Look for sudden changes in the reading when the harness is wiggled or the sensor is tapped.
Application    Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
