P0623 - Generator Lamp Control Circuit

P0623 - GENERATOR LAMP CONTROL CIRCUIT

Description:  The powertrain control module (PCM) monitors the generator lamp control circuit. When the PCM detects a concern it sets this DTC.
Possible Causes: 
  • Charging system
Diagnostic Aids:  Verify the battery voltage is 14.5 volts. Verify the generator/regulator has the correct part number.
Application    Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory
