Pinpoint Test B: Parking Brake Will Not Release

  1. B1 CHECK THE PARKING BRAKE CABLE 
    • Disconnect the parking brake cable at the parking brake lever.
    • Does the parking brake release? 
    1. YES  : REPAIR the binding condition in the parking brake cable or the parking brake control. TEST the system for normal operation.
    2. NO  : REPAIR the binding condition in the parking brake components of the brake system. TEST the system for normal operation.
