PINPOINT TEST M: DTCs C1329, C1330, C1331, C1332, C1333, C1334, C1335, C1336, C1527, C1528, C1529, C1530 AND C1531 - VALVE SOLENOID OVERTEMP

  1. M1 RETRIEVE THE DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES (DTCs) 
    • Connect the diagnostic tool.
    • Key in ON position.
    • Retrieve the DTCs.
    • Are any other DTCs present? 
    1. YES  : DIAGNOSE those DTC(s) first. Go to the Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) Index.
    2. NO  : Go to  M2.
  2. M2 CHECK THE WHEELS AND TIRES 
    • Make sure the wheels and tires are inflated to the correct pressure and are the correct size.
    • Are the wheels and tires OK? 
    1. YES  : INSTALL a new ABS module. REFER to Anti-Lock Brake System (ABS) Module . CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
    2. NO  : CORRECT as necessary. CLEAR the DTCs. REPEAT the self-test.
