Tubes and Hoses

CAUTION: Only authorized inlet hydraulic brake tubes should be used. These tubes are of a specific design and new authorized parts only should be installed.

Steel tubing with flex hoses are used in the hydraulic tubes between the brake master cylinder and the hydraulic control unit (HCU). Steel tubing is used between the HCU and the front and rear hoses.

Double flared brake tubing provides good leakproof connections.

When replacing hydraulic brake tubing, hoses or connectors, tighten all connections securely. After replacement, bleed the brake system. Refer to BRAKE SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION article.
