Ball Joint - Track Bar: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
  2. Remove the track bar, for additional information, refer to TRACK BAR .
  3. If equipped, remove the ball joint grease fitting.

  4. Remove the ball joint boot.
  5. Using the special tools, remove and discard the ball joint.
