Wheel Studs - Single Rear Wheel: Removal

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING (2005) or JACKING & LIFTING (2006).
    2. CAUTION: Do not allow the caliper assembly to hang from the brake hose or damage to the hose can occur.
  2. Remove the 2 caliper anchor plate bolts and position the caliper assembly aside.
    • Support the caliper assembly using mechanic's wire.
  3. Index-mark and remove the brake disc.

  4. Using the special tool, remove and discard the wheel stud.
