  • No Electrical Concerns
 
354 - HYDRAULIC/MECHANICAL ROUTINE 
For Noises/Vibrations That Change With Engine Speed   
  • Converter components
  • Fluid Level (low) - pump cavitation, Pump Assembly.
  • Engine Drive Accessories
  • Locate source of disturbance. Repair as required.
  • Fluid Cooler Tubes grounding out
  • Locate source of disturbance. Repair as required.
  • Flexplate
  • Locate source of disturbance. Repair as required.
For Noises/Vibrations That Change With Vehicle Speed   
  • Engine Mounts - loose or damaged
  • Driveline concerns:
    • Halfshaft shudder
    • CV joints
    • Suspension
    • Modifications
  • Output/Halfshaft Splines - worn or damaged
  • Locate source of disturbance and repair as required.
  • TSS - incorrectly installed
  • Inspect the TSS sensor. Install a new as required.
Other Noises/Vibrations   
  • Main Controls - Valve resonance
  • Locate source of disturbance and repair as required.
  • Shift Cable - vibration, grounding
  • Locate source of disturbance and repair as required.
  • Fluid Cooler Tubes - grounding
  • Locate source of disturbance and repair as required.
  • Anti-Lock (ABS) Brake System
  • Power Steering Pump
