Removal and Installation

LH and RH front drain hoses

Remove the headliner. For additional information, refer to INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION .
Disconnect the front drain hose from the roof opening panel.

LH front drain hose

Disconnect the LH A-pillar lower trim panel.
- Remove the 2 pin-type retainers.

Disconnect the auxiliary junction box electrical connector.
- Remove the bolt.

Position the auxiliary junction box aside.
1. Release the clip.
2. Disconnect the auxiliary junction box from the LH lower A-pillar.

RH front drain hose

Disconnect the RH A-pillar lower trim panel.
- Remove the 2 pin-type retainers.

Position the auxiliary junction box aside.
1. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. Release the clip.
3. Disconnect the junction box from the RH lower A-pillar.

LH and RH front drain hoses

Attach a suitable length of draw cord to the roof opening panel end of the drain hose and secure the free end of the cord to the vehicle.
Remove the front drain hose.
- Release the drain hose clip.
- Pull the drain hose down through the A-pillar.
To install, reverse the removal procedure.
- Attach the draw cord to the roof opening panel end of the new drain hose and pull the drain hose through the A-pillar.
