Wheel and Tire: Removal
CAUTION:
Do not use heat to loosen a seized wheel nut. Heat may damage the wheel and wheel hub.
- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING .
- If equipped, remove the wheel cover.
- Remove the wheel nuts and the wheel and tire assembly.
CAUTION:
The wheel nut covers on the 6 spoke wheel cover will spin, but are not removable. The wheel nut covers on the 7 spoke wheel cover do not spin, they are part of the wheel cover.
