Wheel Bearing - Disc Brakes: Removal

    All vehicles 

    NOTE: A new wheel spindle is supplied with a water seal installed.
  1. Remove and discard the wheel spindle. For additional information, refer to WHEEL SPINDLE  in this article.

    2. Vehicles with anti-lock brakes 

  2. Remove and discard the wheel speed sensor ring.

    3. All vehicles 

  3. If equipped, remove and discard the water seal carrier.
  4. Remove and discard the grease seal.
  5. Remove the snap ring.
  6. Using a press and suitable adapters, remove the wheel bearing.
