Wheel Bearing - Disc Brakes: Installation

All vehicles

Using a press and suitable adapters, install a new wheel bearing.

Install the snap ring.
Install a new grease seal.
If removed, using the special tools, install a new water seal carrier.

Vehicles with anti-lock brakes

CAUTION: Avoid any impact on the wheel speed sensor ring.

CAUTION: Make sure the wheel speed sensor ring is clean.

CAUTION: Avoid any contact between the wheel speed sensor ring and a magnetic surface.
