Removal And Installation

  1. With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING AND LIFTING article.
  2. Remove the parking brake control. For additional information, refer to Parking Brake Control .
  3. Disconnect the front parking brake cable from the equalizer bracket by compressing the cable conduit locking tabs.

  5. Release the front parking brake cable pass-through grommet from the vehicle underbody.
  6. Remove the front parking brake cable by pulling the front parking brake cable through the equalizer bracket.
  7. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
