  • Vehicle sensitive (emergency locking retractor) mode - occupant restraint system is inoperative
  • Front safety belt retractor and tongue
  • Rear safety belt retractor and tongue
  • CARRY OUT the necessary Functional Tests in this article. INSTALL a new safety belt retractor, if necessary.
  • Automatic locking retractor (ALR) mode - occupant restraint system is inoperative
  • Front outboard passenger safety belt retractor and tongue
  • Rear safety belt retractor and tongue
  • CARRY OUT the necessary Functional Tests in this article. INSTALL a new safety belt retractor, if necessary.
  • The safety belt warning indicator lamp does not operate
  • Burned-out lamp/LED
  • Circuitry
  • Instrument cluster (IC) module
  • Restraint control module (RCM)
  • The safety belt warning chime does not operate
  • Safety belt switch
  • IC module
  • RCM
  • Circuitry
  • Excessive pressure on the occupant during normal wear, the webbing cannot be extracted, excessive slack in webbing does not retract
  • Front safety belt retractor and tongue

  • CARRY out the necessary Functional Tests in this article. INSTALL a new retractor, if necessary.
  • The Belt-Minder® feature is inoperative
  • Belt-Minder® feature is deactivated
