Pinpoint Test D: The Door Locks Operate Only One Way

- D1 CHECK CIRCUIT 57 (BK)
- Disconnect: Driver Door Lock Control Switch C505.
- Measure the resistance between the driver door lock control switch C505 pin 2, circuit 57 (BK), harness side and ground.
- Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?
- Yes : GO to D2.
- No : REPAIR circuit 57 (BK). TEST the system for normal operation.
- D2 CHECK CIRCUIT 117 (PK/BK)
- Disconnect: Passenger Door Lock Actuator C603.
- Measure the voltage between the passenger door lock actuator C603, circuit 117 (PK/BK), harness side and ground while operating the door lock control switch to the lock position.
- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
- Yes : GO to D3.
- No : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
- D3 CHECK CIRCUIT 118 (PK/OG)
- Measure the voltage between the passenger door lock actuator C603, circuit 118 (PK/OG), harness side and ground while operating the door lock control switch to the unlock position.
- Is the voltage greater than 10 volts?
- Yes : REPAIR circuit 517 (BK/WH). TEST the system for normal operation.
- No : REPAIR circuit 118 (PK/OG). TEST the system for normal operation.
