Transmission Support Crossmember: Installation

- Position the transmission support crossmember and loosely install the transmission support crossmember nuts and bolts (LH side).
- Loosely install the transmission support crossmember nuts and bolts (RH side).
- Tighten the transmission support crossmember nuts and bolts (LH side).
- Tighten to 90 N.m (67 lb-ft).
- Loosely install the nuts and bolts retaining the transmission crossmember gusset to the transmission support crossmember.
- Loosely install the nuts and bolts retaining the transmission crossmember gusset to the frame.
- Tighten the nuts and bolts retaining the transmission crossmember gusset to the frame.
- Tighten to 90 N.m (67 lb-ft).
- Tighten the transmission support crossmember nuts and bolts (RH side).
- Tighten to 90 N.m (67 lb-ft).
- Tighten the nuts and bolts retaining the gusset to the transmission support crossmember.
- Tighten to 90 N.m (67 lb-ft).
- Install new transmission support insulator nuts.
- Tighten to 103 N.m (76 lb-ft).
- Remove the support from the transmission.
- Connect the electrical connection to the transmission support crossmember.
- Lower the vehicle.

NOTE:
Make sure to install the transmission crossmember gusset to transmission crossmember bolts as shown to avoid interference with the exhaust.
