Rocker Arm: Installation

    NOTE: Lubricate the rocker arms and pivots with clean engine oil.
  1. Position the rocker arms and the pivots and install the bolts. Tighten the bolts in 2 stages.
    • Stage 1: Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
    • Stage 2: Tighten to 32 Nm (24 lb-ft).
  2. Install the valve cover. For additional information, refer to Valve Cover - LH  or Valve Cover - RH  in this article.
