Powertrain Control Module (PCM): Installation

  1. If necessary, install the PCM bracket and the bolts.
    • Tighten to 10 Nm (89 lb-in).
  2. Install the PCM and the bolts.
    • Tighten to 7 Nm (62 lb-in).
  3. Connect the PCM electrical connectors.
  4. Restore the module configuration. Carry out the module configuration restore steps of the Programmable Module Installation procedure. For additional information, refer to MODULE CONFIGURATION article.
  5. Reprogram the passive anti-theft system (PATS). Carry out the Key Programming Using Two Programmed Keys procedure. For additional information, refer to ANTI-THEFT article.
