Pinpoint Test V: The Individual Reversing Lamp Is Inoperative

V1 CHECK CIRCUIT GD171 (BK/GY) FOR AN OPEN

Key in OFF position.
Disconnect: Inoperative Reversing Lamp.

Measure the resistance between the inoperative reversing lamp, harness side and ground as follows:

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

Yes : REPAIR circuit CPB12 (GN/WH). TEST the system for normal operation.

No : REPAIR circuit GD171 (BK/GY). TEST the system for normal operation.
