SYMPTOM CHART

Condition	Possible Sources	Action
No communication with the smart junction box (SJB)	Circuitry SJB	REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES .
The autolamps are inoperative	Circuitry Light sensor SJB	GO to PINPOINT TEST G .
The autolamps are on continuously	Circuitry Light sensor Headlamp switch SJB	GO to PINPOINT TEST H .
The autolamp time delay is inoperative	SJB	CHECK the SJB configuration and make sure the autolamp feature is configured correctly. If the SJB is configured correctly, INSTALL a new SJB. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES . If the SJB is not configured correctly, RECONFIGURE the SJB. REFER to MODULE CONFIGURATION . TEST the system for normal operation.
The headlamps are inoperative with the autolamps on	SJB	PLACE the headlamp switch in the HEADLAMPS ON position and OBSERVE the headlamps. If the headlamps illuminate, INSTALL a new SJB. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES . If the headlamps do not illuminate, REFER to HEADLAMPS to continue diagnosis of the headlamps.
The parking lamps are inoperative with the autolamps on	SJB	PLACE the headlamp switch in the PARKING LAMPS ON position and OBSERVE the parking lamps. If the parking lamps illuminate, INSTALL a new SJB. REFER to MULTIFUNCTION ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULES . If the parking lamps do not illuminate, REFER to PARKING, REAR AND LICENSE PLATE LAMPS to continue diagnosis of the parking lamps.
