Subframe Bushings - Front: Removal

- Remove the front subframe. For additional information, refer to SUBFRAME - FRONT .
- Assemble the special tools to the groove between the upper and lower bushings and tighten.
- Remove the lower bushing using a hammer.
- Turn the subframe over.
- Assemble the special tools to the upper bushing.
- Remove the upper bushing using a hammer.
- Remove the 4 nuts and crossmember from the front subframe.
- Mark the orientation of the bushings to the subframe.
- Remove the lower rear bushings using a flat-blade screwdriver, being careful not to damage the subframe.
- Turn the subframe over.
- Remove the upper rear bushings using a flat-blade screwdriver, being careful not to damage the subframe.

Damage to the subframe may occur if a screwdriver is used to remove the front bushings or if the correct tools are not used.
