Removal and Installation

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet pipe. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
  2. Remove the 4 throttle body bolts and position the throttle body aside.
    • To install, tighten to 10 N.m (89 lb-in).
  3. Remove the roll restrictor cross brace-to-roll restrictor bolt.
    • To install, clean the bolt using a wire brush, apply new threadlock to the threads and tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
  4. Remove the 4 roll restrictor cross brace-to-strut tower bolts and the crossbar.
    • To install, clean the bolts using a wire brush, apply new threadlock to the threads and tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
  5. Remove the 4 roll restrictor support bracket bolts and the support bracket.
    • To install, clean the bolts using a wire brush, apply new threadlock to the threads and tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
  6. Detach the wiring retainer from the roll restrictor.
  7. Remove the 2 bolts and the roll restrictor.
    • To install, clean the bolt using a wire brush, apply new threadlock to the threads and tighten to 55 Nm (41 lb-ft).
  8. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
