Belt Tension Sensor (BTS)

The safety belt tension sensor (BTS) is part of the passenger front outboard safety belt and retractor assembly. The BTS is located at the safety belt anchor point and is used in conjunction with the occupant classification sensor (OCS) system. For additional information, refer to SUPPLEMENTAL RESTRAINT SYSTEM .
